Whistler is located on BC Highway 99, which is also known as the "Sea-to-Sky highway". The Sea-toSky connects Whistler to the BC Interior through Pemberton-Mount Currie to Lillooet and other connections beyond to the Cariboo and Trans-Canada Highways.

Whistler is roughly 125 km (76 mi) north of Vancouver and 58 kilometres (36 mi) north of Squamish.
